Account Management
Quality Assurance
Our operation is designed to have redundant checks of all travel records for our key corporate accounts. Every record goes through numerous QC checks. First, our pre-ticketing reports expose any and all policy violations. Next, our proprietary robotic quality control system monitors a variety of indices to include policy compliance. Records found outside of policy are annotated and returned to the agent to review and resolve. Finally, a five-person human quality control staff checks every corporate record for accuracy and compliance. The only way travelers can circumvent the system is if travel is approved by one of the account’s control points. These same procedural controls exist for our online booking tools.
Reservation System
GlobalPoint Travel’s primary GDS (Global Distribution System) is acknowledged by the industry to be the most effective GDS relative to securing low fares, overall functionality, and scope. The system’s capabilities and performance have earned it the title of best GDS eight out of the last ten years according to independent travel industry organizations. Beyond their traditional displays, they have negotiated access to web fares with more than 12 carriers giving them real-time access to many fares that simply do not exist through other systems. The inclusion of such fares directly into the GDS creates tremendous efficiency in the booking process as well as confidence that fares are the lowest.
Apart from our GDS’s superb rate capabilities, it adds a host of other features that provide travel consultants with the information and functionality required to effectively process corporate travel requests. These features include a comprehensive and interactive traveler profile system, a tracking system for unused electronic tickets, and the most extensive real-time availability for hotels and car rental companies in the industry.
